| The 1979 Pacific Railroad Society "Mountain Outin" passenger special, with Amtrak 518 and Amtrak 517, has stopped at west end of Woodford siding to meet SP 9327 East. Every vestibule and baggage door on the passenger special is occupied by multiple railfans taking pictures. The passenger special ran from LA - Barstow - Bakersfield and returned the same route back to LA the next day. |
