    Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific train OVWWO 12 (Ore, Vancouver WA to Wendover UT) passes under Interstate 15 as it approaches North Yard in Salt Lake City, Utah. This train, comprised of all CHTT gondolas of mixed heritage (UP, MP, RGON and Golden West Service), is empty even though all the cars have tarps on them. UP SD70ACe 8628 (a May 2008 graduate of EMD's London ON plant) and AC4400CW 5998 (which rolled out of GE's Erie PA plant in October 2003) have the job of moving this train on August 13, 2012.

Coal and steel don't go bad. This album features long, slow, heavy freight trains; drag freights, slop freights, dead freights, etc. Trains with lots of power, and lots of different cargo slogging along behind.
