Remarks & Notes

In the mid 1970s, the D&RGW rebuilt the moribund Pleasant Valley Branch to serve a new coal mine named Valley Camp. A quad of EMD 40 series motors lead a train of Rio Grande 100 ton cross hoppers along scenic Scofield Reservoir in Utah's Carbon County.
