Remarks & Notes

A Rio Grande coal train heads eastbound along the Arkansas River just east of Spikebuck, Colorado, in April 1984. Tunnel Motor No. 5362 leads Missouri Pacific SD40-2s Nos. 6021 and 6003 on this incredibly scenic Tennessee Pass route, and soon, the train will be entering Royal Gorge.
