Remarks & Notes

The afternoon SB from North Creek to Saratoga rolls to a stop at the passenger shelter at the 1000 Acres Ranch Resort in Stony Creek. Delaware & Hudson 821 leads the train south on this late Summer day. D&H Alco S2's similar to this were the first diesels to run on this ex D&H line. This unit is an ex Staten Island engine that was originally built for the US Army.
