Dumping ore at Taconite Harbor
A LTV Mining (former Erie Mining) loaded taconite train slowly rumbles over the dock at Taconite Harbor, Minnesota, on a beautiful September 20, 1991. The train is pulled by lead F9A No. 4211, two F9Bs and a trailing Alco C-420. Docked and loading below is the Charles M. Beeghly, a 806-foot boat from the Interlake Steamship Company fleet.
