Yuengling: America's Oldest Brewery Reading & Northern's 3058 shifts the Yuengling Brewery in Port Carbon. This brewery was built in 2000 and expanded in 2011 to handle the increased demand for Yuengling products. Yueingling has been producing beer since 1829, making it the oldest in the United States and the original brewery is still in use and open for tours in Pottsville. With InBev purchasing Anheuser-Busch, South African Breweries purchasing Miller and Molson merging with Coors, Yuengling has become the largest American-owned brewery, producing nearly 3 million barrels this year.
