North Shore Railroad's sharp looking SW1500 #1940 brings eight loaded crosstie gons through Shamokin on the former Reading trackage through downtown. The eastbound train on the Shamokin Valley RR is enroute to Locust Summit where they will interchange these eight crosstie gons in exchange for 20 more empty crosstie gons to take back to Muncy, PA for loading.
