COMILOG/ ERAMET - SETRAG GT46AC CC4304 is being prepared for its FRA inspection and the train built up with all 6 of these export units on September 6, 2012. Later the units were picked up by Norfolk Southern Railroad.
SETRAG is owned by COMILOG and ERAMET which operates the railroad that the GT46AC operates. The locomotives will haul Manganese which is a metal that is often used in stainless steel products.
The railroad operates in the country of GABON which is located in the west central portion of the continent of AFRICA near the equator. The country is bordered by the South Atlantic Ocean on the west, Equatorial Guinea on the north, Cameroon on the northern panhandle, and Congo to the south and east.
I believe this production was for six units.
Proudly produced in Muncie, IN by the employees of Progress Rail Locomotive Assembly.
