Call them MLW Killers! BCRail took delivery of 18 General Electric C40-8's with the Draper Taper car body design starting in May of 1990 effectively spelling the end of the 6 motor MLW/Alco era on BCR. The railroad would hang onto a few 6 motor MLW's for work train and stand-by service for about a year and they too would be jettisoned from the roster. Unit 4612 has been on the property for a matter of days and is being readied for its first trip south.
