A westbound U.P. freight with Alco RS-27 678 in the lead is northwest of Topeka, Ks., headed for Marysville and on to North Platte, Nebr. on July 9, 1967. A DD35B and two GE units are in the consist also. Supposedly there were only 27 model RS-27's sold int he U.S.
...Rock Island....Erie Lackawanna....even some UP....some other stuff....that I remember even if I didnt' see them in the locales that some of these photos were taken at.....
