UP e/b manifest train derailment at Aikins, Kansas, on the Kansas Division between Topeka and Marysville. Units involved: U25Bs 632, 627, and Alco DL-640 (RS-27) 677. Photo made on November 24, 1968. No information as to cause or whether or not there were injuries. The 677 was one of four ex-Alco demonstrators acquired by the UP in 1961 and retired in 1970-71. The 677 was retired in August 1970 and scrapped.
