Remarks & Notes

St. Paul, MN, to Kansas City, MO, daily freight train rolls past Kains and a 2nd 270 parked in the siding. The normal 270 is only 33 miles from next crew change and work at Marquette. Kains siding is the only siding between Marquette and La Crescent.
