| A long BNSF double-stack climbs its way uphill at Walong in Tehachapi Pass. For this angle, I climbed about 150 feet up the steep incline of the hill across from the Loop Monuments on the Woodford/Tehachapi Road. Other than the previously posted fantastic aerial shots, this might be the only remaining way to achieve a photo with the entire loop in it because I noticed a new heavy gate across the beginning of Broome Road off of the Woodford/Tehachapi Road with a "No Trespassing Private Property Violators will be Prosecuted" sign on it. There was also a chain across the short dirt road that lead to the great location on the side of the hill east of the "Loop" where you could fit the entire loop in a photo at several different locations with a 28mm lens or smaller. |
