| The sun has just risen on this pristine southern hemisphere winters morning. The combination of the warm colours of the winter veld and the steam plume caused by super-heated steam being forced into air just a few degrees above freezing is what makes winter steam train photography on the South African Highveld so special. The Cullinan Daimond mine is seen in the background. |
