Remarks & Notes

Fayette Central Railroad's Alco wearing B&O colors crossing the road at Bowest Junction. The concrete strucure on the left (engineer's side) was a call box used by B&O crews to contact tower operators. The switch was the lead into the Western Maryland's Bowest Yard from the B&O's FM&P "Sheepskin Branch" which ran from Connellsville Pa to Fairmaont WV.
