| Wide open space and an impressive 2300 ton train on 1 metre gauge. 3 locomotives of the FCAB are pulling a loaded train (lead/zinc/silver concentrates in containers) from the San Cristóbal mine in Bolivia towards the harbour of Mejillones north of Antofagasta. The train crossed the Salar de Carcote (180 km2) on a dam already and is on the ascent to the hill towards Salar Ascotan. |
