| HSB 99 222 is leaving the Drei Annen Hohne station with a train to the Brocken. The three engines of the Class 99.22 were standard, narrow gauge locomotives (Einheitsloks) used by the Deutsche Reichsbahn. They received the road numbers 99 221, 99 222 and 99 223. They were built and deployed for the railway line from Eisfeld to Sch?nbrunn. During the second world war, the two locomotives 99 221 and 99 223 have been sent to Norway. After the end of the war they remained there and were later scrapped. The 99 222 remained on duty until 1966 on its original route before it was transferred to the Harz. This locomotive is still in service today. |
