Trough Train over Marias Pass
Burlington Northern’s unique Trough Train bends through Tunnel 3.8 east of Belton, Montana, on a rainy October 6, 1997. This westbound BNSF coal train is powered by two BNSF “Grinstein” SD70MACs, Nos. 9798 and 9769.
