With 11,749 ft. Mt. Timpanogos looming in the background, Amtrak's California Zephyr train #6 roars east through Springville, Utah. Built by EMD in Dec. 1987, the 403 was one of the last new F40PH deliveries to Amtrak. After its short career on Amtrak, the 403 was sold to Virginia Railway Express as the V30 in May 2000.
