Flying through the San Luis Valley
The crew on San Luis and Rio Grande 2-6-0 No. 1744 has an on time arrival of the afternoon passenger run in mind as the train cruises westbound between Blanca and Alamosa, Colorado, on August 12, 2007. Fireman John Charles has the former Southern Pacific machine firing nice and clean for the last few miles to the depot. |
