    Remarks & Notes
Poway Midland number 3, which is a 1907 Baldwin 0-4-0, rests in the train shed. It was originally built for the Henry Cowell Lime and Cement Company of Cowell, California. In 1952, the locomotive was sold to the South San Francisco Scrap Metals Company. Beginning in 1992, the locomotive was restored by Poway Midland Railroad volunteers and made its inaugural passenger run on July 4, 1997. Taken with permission.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
