Timing really is everything in this hobby. For a window of a few months, Conrail would run multiple SD80mac power moves west out of New England for Selkirk Yard either as a lite engine move or occasionally on the head end of a freight. This BOEL empty autorack train out of Framingham(for Elkhart In) had no less than six SD80MACs(four of them off line). The odd BOEL symbol lasted only a few months as well. The train is seen westbound through the historic village of Chatham which was a one time beehive of activity during the 1950's. The old Chatham Station on the left of the 4121 has been since refurbished by the Bank of Kinderhook.
