Roscoe Goodson probably was tending his little garden, tucked in between the N&W and Repass Road, when Ys hauled the daily freights. The trains still run but his immaculate trellises of pole beans, clean rows of potatoes and well tended tomato plants are no longer there, nor is he. R.I.P.
