| Not long after the Soo bought the MN&S the pair of MN&S SD39's started to roam system wide. Equipped with Hancock air whistles and with an amber flasher above the front walkway the units presented a different look and sound from what had been normally seen on Soo. This is MN&S 41 in its first appearance through Trout Lake along with Soo 2413 leading train 910 with 64 cars. The air whistles and big amber flashers didn't last to long before being replaced with more "standard" Soo equipment. |
