| Soo 395 at the Marquette Roundhouse. The 395 was built as Baldwin demonstrator 1600 in 1949 and went to the DSS&A in 1952. It was one of a few ex DSS&A Baldwins to get Soo paint. This unit was retired in Feb. of 1965 and was the only DSS&A AS-616 with dynamic brakes. Photo from my collection, no information as to photographer on slide. It has been in my collection for years. |
