| On a chilly morning, No. 233 eases through a 25 MPH slow order in Narrows, Va., behind a pair of Burlington Northern Santa Fe engines sandwiching a Norfolk Southern General Electric C40-9. The three locomotives will definitely acquire a work-out as they lug this lengthy 8000' double-stack train up the East River Valley into Bluefield W.Va.; later battling snow and wet-rail making the climb even more difficult while nearing the high altitude community. |
