Remarks & Notes

Rio Grande train No. 179 rolls west through the scenic Red Narrows of Spanish Fork Canyon on Sept. 11, 1987. The D&RGW 5348 was built by EMD for the Rio Grande in Oct. 1974 and wrecked on the SP on Tennessee Pass on Nov. 22, 1994 and scrapped.
