| Beyond the Dawn Line - BNSF#4406 approaches Ludlow California as the dawn line approaches the culvert over the wash in foreground. On the horizon lies Lavic in the distance and a westbound semi truck travels on Interstate 40 towards Barstow. Since these units are not running elephant style, they are probably from the Tidmouth Shed Power Pool, rather than captives of the Barstow Pool which was recently debunked by industry insiders as being nonexistent. Anyway, hope you enjoy looking at the image as much as I enjoyed crawling around on a dormant volcanic cinder cone to take it. |
