A BNSF local switches the yard at Greybull, Wyoming, on the afternoon of May 24, 2011. Freshly-painted BNSF GP39E No. 2744 stands in contrast to the weathered outside-braced former Chicago, Burlington & Quincy 40-foot boxcar used as a storage shed near the wheel track. A railroader there stated that the boxcar was not long for the world and the BNSF wanted to dispose of it soon; perhaps it is no longer there today…
A collection of engines, cabooses, cars, etc., great and small that are past their prime, but represent a spirit of railroading that will never pass away!!
