| This image is a companion to my image 437310 and was taken only a couple of minutes later. This is the 6 unit manned helper set for this coal train. It is interesting to compare Utah Ry practice and Union Pacific practice here. Utah Ry uses strictly DC locomotives while Union Pacific's are AC type. This location with its great S curves is only favorably lit in the afternoon and evening. |
