| A Union Pacific officer's special arrives in Salt Lake City from Nampa, Idaho. Former SP observation cars 'Sunset' and 'Stanford' trail the UP 8725 as it heads into the UTA/Amtrak station to tie up for the day. The 'Sunset' (UPP 150) was built for the SP in 1955 and was the last business car made by Pullman-Standard. The 'Stanford' (UPP 140) was built for the SP in 1927 by Pullman (originally named the 'Sunset'). |
