          Remarks & Notes
This I would say has got to be the oldest piece of equipment BNSF owned and used. An old ATSF ice hatch reefer built in 1923 which was last used as a buffer car on a welded rail train. All of the markings are still plainly visible. The best parts are the San Bernardino Shop markings, Builders date of 23, and the BNSF reporting marks. Pueblo, Co. May14-2013

A collection of engines, cabooses, cars, etc., great and small that are past their prime, but represent a spirit of railroading that will never pass away!!

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.

A much needed album given that there is no "category" to identify these pictures

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
