Sand is flying and exhaust smoke fills the air, as No. 81V assaults the last few hundred yards of 1.7% grade, while crawling uphill into the quaint community of Honaker, Va., along NS' Clinch Valley District. The train definitely has all it can handle as it is down to walking speed even with two locomotives on the head-end and two AC engines shoving on the rear. Definitely mountain railroading at it's best!
