| It seemed like a good plan - hike up to Loudon Heights the night before, camp out, and be in position for some early morning eastbounds. Sunday dawned as a picture perfect day with not a cloud in the sky. Unfortunately, there were no trains either. As the morning progressed I knew Amtrak would be coming and I could get at least one shot before hiking back to Harpers Ferry. At 11:15 I was surprised to see a CSX freight running wrong main about 45 minutes ahead of P030. |
