On a beautiful June day these two RJ Corman loco's sit silently at the RJ Corman office waiting for their next assignment. Both loco’s are SD40T-2's. The 8569 is an EX-Southern Pacific # 8569 and was built by EMD in 2/70 having EMD number 786174-71. The second loco 8518 was an EX-Union Pacific/Southern Pacific 8518 and was built by EMD in 12/78 EMD number 786174-20. This area and line are definitely worth the drive and offer an experience not found in anywhere else.
