| Working out of Kroonstad depot, this train is hauling empty grain wagons for the silos at stations along the Free State main line to Sasolburg. The train is seen entering the loop at the south end of Rooiwal station, passing the semaphore signals that are still in operation here and at three other stations on this line. Sadly, work is expected to begin later this year to replace them with colour lights and centralised traffic control. |
