Remarks & Notes

A pair of back to back EMD DD35s roll east through Utah's Tintic Valley approaching Boulter on Oct. 2, 1977. UP 79 and 70 were built new for the UP by EMD in 1965. When everything was working as designed, this pairing would essentially be four GP35s.
