In a view of Harpers Ferry from Loudoun Heights, Virginia, an eastbound CSX freight crosses the Potomac River Bridge into Maryland on the beautiful spring morning of April 25, 1996. Lead locomotive GE C40-8W No. 7771 is paired up with a visitor from the west; a Rio Grande Tunnel Motor, which was filthy enough that I never did get the road number from this distance!
