| On what is likely to be one of the most ungodly hottest days of the year in the Hudson River Valley, two back to back ex-Conrail SD40-2s idle at the small pocket Yard in Hudson NY. The crew had completed some switching and are currently 'on hold' for Amtrak traffic. Further south, CSXT suffered a derailment in a tight rock cut with a Oak Point to Selkirk Yard garbage train north of Spuyten Duyvil on the Metro North Line. |
