Remarks & Notes

Chichibu Railway is a private railway (shortline) owned by a cement company. Its units were totally unlike the electrics operated by the other railways in Saitama Province and its primary purpose was freight, unusual in Japan. They do have MU electric passenger trains. This unit and quaint caboose are idling.
