Remarks & Notes

The Petit train d'Artouste is a narrow gauge (500mm, 19 3⁄4 in) tourist railway situated in the French Pyrenees. The line is 10 km (6.2 mi) long at an altitude of about 2000 m (6,561 ft). The line was originally built to facilitate the construction of the Artouste Lake Dam in 1920.
