        Remarks & Notes
After years spent hustling intermodal across the southwestern deserts, some of Santa Fe’s Super Fleet have been exiled to a similar, yet completely different duty of hauling trains across the northern-most transcontinental in North America. From cactus to pine trees, two Canadian National GE C40-8Ws (former Santa Fe/BNSF Nos. 806 and 846 in warbonnet days) Nos. 2138 and 2158 rumble eastward with double-stacked train No. 116 at Pedley, Alberta, on July 16, 2013.
