Remarks & Notes

Before NSM received three new GE ES44ACs to test this week there was precedent for having tested GEs in the past. Here three borrowed (from sister railroad LTV Steel Mining Company, which had leased them from LRC) GEs lead 150 loaded ore cars east towards Silver Bay on a nice fall day. NSM ended up going with rebuilt SD40-3s from LRC.
