My first and only ride in a real F40 was just from the station to the yard, but was an experience I'll never forget. My dad often brought me out to watch or travel on trains, but this time was different. The 356 was parked outside the offices, and an engineer came out to move it. He told us they noticed a young man's interest in the locomotive and got the okay to give me a ride to the yard should I want it. It's hard to describe how awesome that was!
