| The SBB hired 5 former Austrian Railways diesel locomotives 2143 from the Rail Transport Service (RTS) in Austria for maintenance of way trains. 2143 012 is on a driver validation run from Eglisau to Zürich Altstetten, pulling loaded ballast cars (about 240 tons). The B'B' diesel hydraulic locomotive was built in 1966 by SGP, but got a new, more powerfull prime mover. |
