Remarks & Notes

While Southern Pacific 7432 east waits in "the hole" in Pomona, California, a westbound train, led by SP SD40T-2 8341, holds the main as it heads to Los Angeles on September 5th, 1984. SP 8341 west has a ten-unit consist - This train is most likely a West Colton to Los Angeles manifest, which is also moving extra locomotives west as well to balance power assignment.
