An eastbound grain train glints the evening’s sunset as the train snakes along the Clark Fork between Thompson Falls and Eddy, Montana, on September 22, 2006. Like a golden spider web, a slide fence along the main line guards against any falling rocks from the high cliffs above. The train is traveling Montana Rail Link’s highly scenic Fourth Subdivision.
