        Remarks & Notes
After a visit to the O Yard, RS-1 only has a three car train to show for as they travel east on the Old Main, passing Southern Railway of BC’s Trapp Yard. Although the Old Main is owned and maintained by Canadian Pacific, SRY uses it as a yard track. Often Canadian Pacific’s road switchers will be routed through any given track if the Old Main is full. The track on the left is Canadian National’s LuLu Island spur. Of interesting note CP 4508, originally Milwaukee Road #358, leads the train which is a rare sight considering the west coast mainly only sees GP38AC number series 3000-3012. The top track in Trapp Yard is SRY’s deadline, which consists of SRY 383 (SD38-2), SRY 1205 (GMD1m), SRY 908 (SW900RS), RPRX 2001 (Green Goat), SRY 1203 (GMD1m), SRY 1201 (GMD1m), and SRY 1204 (GMD1m).

There are times when many engines, cars or cabooses are concentrated in a location. Such sites are for storage, economic reasons, active power needs or for rebuilding. For others, wear and tear have brought their usefulness to and end.
