Remarks & Notes

BNSF DPU power #7253 and #4536 push on the rear of this mixed freight headed upgrade on the Dotsero Cutoff on the UP Glenwood Springs Sub. The Dotsero Cutoff was constructed between 1932-33. It was built to connect the Denver & Salt Lake Railway and the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. The connection is 40 miles long and closely follows the Colorado River Dotsero to Bond, CO.
